Etpaar is a small Toronto studio for brand identity, print, and websites. We work with one or two clients at a time, from the first sketch through the final build.
№ 01The name and the desk
Made with pride.
The name comes from pe'er, a Hebrew word for beauty and pride. We want to make work that feels good to put your name on, and still feels right years later.
Etpaar opened in Toronto in 2018. The studio is owned and run by Izzy Levy, so you work directly with the person doing the thinking, designing, and making.

The second look.
The details that appear on the second look are often the ones we spend the most time on: the kerning, the margins, the weight of a hairline rule.
Care becomes visible in review. We test the small decisions together, refine what is not quite settled, and prepare each piece for the place it has to work.
